Reflections at the turning of 2026 – the Year of the Horse

As the year draws to a close, I would like to pause for a moment and thank you for the trust, kindness, and quiet, meaningful connections we have shared through art over the past year.

2026 carries a special symbolism as the Year of the Horse – a year often associated with strength, freedom, movement, and inner spirit. These are values that have long been close to my work, and to the way I approach painting. And yes – I sometimes find myself standing among horses for inspiration… it is a rather honest reminder of what real presence, energy, and grace look like.

I wish you a blessed Christmas filled with peace, warmth, and true rest, and a New Year rich in health, creative energy, and success – in life, and in the joy of collecting.

I look forward to meeting again in the year ahead – at exhibitions, in the studio, or through the conversations that begin when a new work finds its place.
