About the Artwork:
"As I stood before the canvas, I let the currents of my innermost feelings guide my hand. 'On the Waves of Emotions' embodies the tumultuous journey of the heart, capturing the powerful crests and tranquil troughs that define our lives. It is an homage to the strength and vulnerability we all carry within."
The painting was created with oil paints on a uniquely textured composite aluminum panel.
Thanks to the use of spacers, the artwork “floats” on the wall in an aura of beautiful light, made possible by the app-controlled LED backlighting.

"Andrew Manaylo's "On the Waves of Emotions," from the Soul Vibrations Art Series, is a dynamic confluence of motion and affect, rendered with a profound intensity that captures the viewer's gaze. Swathes of blue surge across the canvas with a centrifugal force, a visual maelstrom that pulls one into the depths of the painter's emotional resonance. Within this tempest of hues, there is a palpable tension between the chaos of raw feeling and the tranquility of thoughtful reflection.
The artwork's kinetic energy is amplified by the vibrant splatters and drips that conjure images of sea spray, while strokes of white and deep navy suggest the crests and troughs of churning waves. Here, Manaylo articulates the spectrum of human sentiment—its ebbs and flows, its tempests and calms—with a spectrum of blues that range from the palest ice to the deepest indigo. The arresting slashes of red and orange within this oceanic tapestry serve as beacons, symbolizing the fiery moments of passion or insight that punctuate our lives.
"On the Waves of Emotions" embodies the essence of the Soul Vibrations series: a testament to the vibrancy of the human spirit and the profound depths of our inner world. It is a visual poem of the heart, a canvas that not only depicts but resonates with the ceaseless, undulating rhythm of our emotional seas."
