About the Artwork:
"In the vast canvas of life, emotions ebb and flow like waves in the ocean. With 'Riding the Emotion Wave,' I sought to capture that delicate dance of the soul — the highs and lows, the tranquility and the turbulence. Every brushstroke is a heartbeat, a momentary flicker of human feeling in the boundless sea of existence."
The painting was created with oil paints on a uniquely textured composite aluminum panel.
Thanks to the use of spacers, the artwork “floats” on the wall in an aura of beautiful light, made possible by the app-controlled LED backlighting.

“Andrew Manaylo's "Riding the Emotion Wave" from the Soul Vibrations Art Series is an evocative masterpiece that delves deep into the abstract realm of human experience. Through a symphony of chromatic choices, Manaylo captures the ineffable ebb and flow of emotions, reminiscent of the fluidity of the ocean tides.
The central motif appears to be an amalgamation of deep blues and pristine whites, interspersed with rivulets of ochre and amber. This intricate dance of colors is not just a visual treat but also serves as a metaphor for the tumultuous waves of emotions that surge within every individual. The thick brush strokes, layered with textured impressions, suggest a sense of urgency, while the gentler areas of the canvas allude to moments of quiet introspection.
The subtle presence of the gray strip on the left adds an intriguing counterpoint to the visceral energy of the artwork. It might be interpreted as the neutral ground, a still point in the midst of chaos, or perhaps, a reminder of the impermanence of emotional states.
Manaylo's piece is not just a painting; it's a poetic expression. It invites viewers to introspect, to resonate with their own emotional waves, and to find solace in the shared human experience of navigating the vast ocean of feelings. In essence, "Riding the Emotion Wave" is a testament to the artist's profound understanding of the human psyche and his unparalleled ability to translate that understanding into a canvas of ethereal beauty.”
